China has suspended its ban on approving exports of “dual-use items” related to gallium, germanium, antimony, and super-hard materials to the United States, the Commerce Ministry said on Sunday. The suspension takes effect immediately and will remain in place until November 27, 2026, the ministry said in a statement. The ban was originally announced in December 2024. The ministry also suspended stricter end-user and end-use checks for exports of dual-use graphite to the United States, which were introduced alongside the original ban. On Friday, China announced the suspension of additional export controls imposed on October 9, including expanded curbs on certain rare earth materials and lithium battery components.

Fitch Ratings affirmed Ireland’s long-term foreign currency rating at ‘AA’ with a stable outlook, citing strong credit fundamentals despite risks stemming from US policy uncertainty. The rating is supported by strong institutions and the 2nd-highest GDP per capita among Fitch-rated sovereigns, even after adjusting for the large impact of multinational enterprises (MNEs) on national accounts data. Ireland faces uncertainty regarding US trade and tax policies, as 33% of its goods exports were directed to the US. Headline GDP rose 18.2% in H1 2025, reflecting front-loaded exports to the US ahead of tariffs. “We forecast around 10% headline GDP growth in 2025, with upside risks from strong MNE exports, while domestic demand remains solid,” Fitch said. S&P’s credit rating for Ireland stands at ‘AA’ with a positive outlook. Moody’s credit rating for Ireland was last set at ‘Aa3’ with a positive outlook, while DBRS’s credit rating for Ireland was last reported at ‘AA’ with a stable outlook.

Fitch Affirms Ireland’s Ratings at ‘AA’

S&P Global Ratings affirmed Poland's long-term foreign currency rating at ‘A-’ with a stable outlook, citing a balance between strong medium-term growth prospects and rising debt risks. “The stable outlook reflects the balance between Poland's resilient medium-term growth prospects over the next two years and the risk of rising economic vulnerabilities related to the country's rapidly increasing debt,” the agency said. The decision contrasts with both Fitch’s and Moody’s moves to revise Poland's outlook to negative, citing mounting fiscal pressures amid a wide budget deficit. S&P noted that Poland’s fiscal outlook remains weak, with net general government debt projected to rise to 67% of GDP by 2028. The increase is attributed to high defense and social spending, as well as anticipated costs related to the 2027 parliamentary elections. Moody’s credit rating for Poland was last set at A2 with a negative outlook, while DBRS’s credit rating was last reported at A with a stable outlook.

Motorbike sales in Indonesia increased 8.4% year-on-year to 590,362 units in October 2025, after 7.3% growth in September. This marked the third consecutive month of annual increases, following a 150 bps interest rate cut by the central bank since September 2024. For the first ten months of 2025, motorbike sales edged up 0.2% compared to the same period in 2024. On a month-on-month basis, sales rose 4.1% in October, rebounding from a 1.9% decline in September. In 2024, annual motorbike sales grew 1.5%, reaching 6.3 million units, within the forecast range of 6.2 to 6.5 million units set by the Association of Indonesian Motorcycle Industry (AISI). For 2025, AISI targets sales between 6.4 and 6.7 million units. Last month, AISI remained optimistic that it could reach the target by the end of the year.
